Girl's Indian Cloth Dress Pattern

The Indian Cloth Dress came to Tribal girls with the westward movement of the fur trade and this is similar to our PM/76 but is made for girls in sizes 4 through 12.

Lightweight calicos are very popular for everyday use, red or blue trade cloth is beautiful for "best dress" and you may add ribbons to the basic pattern in order to create the now classic "Ribbon Dress" seen at powwows and many rendezvous. 

Variations included with the pattern are neck style, sleeve options and length. Also, complete instructions are given for lining the dress.
